Humans
Humans are no more significant than a few randomly moving molecules—but yet it is humans who are asking the questions of significance. It is humans who develop the science of astronomy, who explore the universe without ever leaving home. It is humans who turn the universe into a springboard for spiritual questions. Humans are known for their adaptability and their variety of characteristics. Over the years, they have adapted to many environments and adopted several beliefs and customs of the other races, which has led to quite an array of cultures and individuality. As a short lived race, they tend to focus on the here and now. Humans often congregate together in cities and are known for the many civilizations that rise and fall during their short lifespans.
They make up the majority of the remaining population, and are considered higher than the others except for cyborgs who share relatively the same social status.

Cyborgs
The humankind has always had the urge to push themselves to their wildest dreams. When it came to the old age, humans aimed to take flight like birds - and in came the invention of the hot air balloon, the blimp, and then the plane. When it came to warfare, humans developed technology far past what they had anticipated. With the emergence of better medical care, and better technology came the rise of cybernetic implants, not exclusively for medical care anymore, however as enhancements. Cyborgs are humans who have robotically enhanced themselves with cybernetic implantation.
Androids
Androids are superficially identical to humans and the other races, however they can come in many different forms, shapes, and sizes. While true AI androids are extremely rare, the normal androids exist in practically everywhere. They are often viewed as commodities, and what freedom they have are often judged by the program they have been installed with, as most are just programmed to perform specific task and fail to reach the realm of being a true AI. While most are modeled to look after humans, and very much do look as such, their bodies are completely artificial. Made of material that mimic the flexibility, shape, tone, and look of human skin and bone, they are not completely human, and lack any sense of a "nervous" system to verify pain asides from sensors along their synthetic skin. Barring violence or tragedy, a android's body never deteriorates. Simply put, an android's mind eventually shuts itself down once an automated process in their mind determines that the AI has passed its prime time. Due to this, androids often become lifeless bodies after passing around a century, before requiring a entire reboot. During this time, AI restoration is possible, however can only be done with backed up memory.
Some people at times opt to have their body transmitted into an android, rather than a clone. While this is a more cost efficient option, it must be noted that those partaking in such activities lose a part of themselves, one could call it their "humanity". An individual is required to remain at the hospital for a week before they are permitted to leave once more. The patient is of course prone to experiencing identity issues as the body they once had will not match the body they now have. They may be a bit shorter, their grip may not be as strong, they will be more fit, no scarring of any kind, and in many ways it is as though god had pressed the reset button and they began again. This can cause many types of personality errors and mental incongruity, as well as dysgraphia and dysmorphia. These usually fade in time with counseling, activity, and various forms of therapy, but can supply lasting effects to an individual.
Unlike true AI androids, androids which house a human mind within them cannot be revivified after the death of the brain, and will imitate a lifeless corpse. True AIs are also noted to lack any type of "soul" which a human android may be capable of feeling. Instead, a true AI or any other AI are capable of only experiencing what their program could say as emotiwaves - sensors which help an android determine the personality they should act as, and allows for judgement on another's personality based on expression and tone.

Clones
Since the ban on human research specifically on cloning and medical procedures outside of real medicine was lifted on 2395, cloning has made intricate advances since the following decades and centuries. Medically, it was the best option for those unfortunate to receive critical injuries such as paralysis or surviving a fatal burn. These advances became more noticeable when it came to the agriculture business, where the mass production of healthier and non-processed foods such as plant matter and meat were more easily available and cost efficient to produce.
All in all, the actual world of cloning was entirely revivified the moment that the NeuralNet connector was created. It bridged the worlds of the biological and the digital, allowing our own brains to become the computer we always lugged around.
As technology progressed, the chip itself became something of a divine intervention, as an update and successful test allowed for the partial download of an individual’s memory. The issue was re-uploading the memory, but that was hardly a problem when it was found that if grown into a clone during the process of their growth, then it would allow for a constant access buffer and act as immediate external memory. Therein, a mind and personality can be transferred from one body to the next, so long as it is biologically compatible, IE, a clone. Furthermore, a brain scan is needed to be taken of the brain as it is electrically active, either artificially induced or otherwise, in order for the personality to be recreated appropriately. As the technology caught on and offered the world an effective alternative to veritable immortality, advances were made in the process of cloning that it no longer took a decade to grow a clone into a usable state, but instead took only months.
Recently, however, a new process of cloning was employed to allow for the creation of a new body in less than three days. Gel Suspension Printing, or GSP-Cloning for short, is a method in which the appropriate tissues for a body are grown from stem cells separately as a paste and an advanced 3d biological printing machine begins to construct the new body from the ground up within a tank of specially designed nutrient gel. The gel ensures the new tissue is suspended securely and is fed during the three day process of construction, healing and growth. The nervous system is one of the first to be constructed as it uplinks directly with the Net transceiver which begins to run active physical diagnostics the moment the body is capable, solidifying the tissues and compositions by supplying movement and other essential facets to healthy development. After which, the body is supplied with a concoction of choice drugs to further help everything set in place. The body is given a week to fully adjust to its accelerated growth and healing before it is removed from the tank and the memories re-uploaded.

The Classification of Intelligences in the Artificial Persuasion:
In Crossfate’s expansive world there are multiple types of digital intelligences, some of them alien, most of them terrestrial. In this case we’ll be covering all of them. We’ll start with the most basic of facts among Digital Intelligences; no intelligence is truly on par with or greater than humanity save for the Artificial Soul, of which there are only 17 known to have left their hidden society.
VIRTUAL INTELLIGENCE:
Much like it’s Real World Counterpart, the VI is considered an open computational system. This means that while it can learn, it cannot edit itself without first entirely calculating and quantifying its matrices. This is what is colloquially known as a Mimic in Crossfate’s laboratories. It is simple software designed to look and act alive. It cannot control a body of any form and exists solely as a digital construct in computers.
An example of a VI would be any public interactive communication section, such as what you would find in vending machines and restaurants.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE:
Also much like its RWC, the AI of Crossfate’s world is a closed computational system. This means it is free to edit whatever part of itself it wants without first quantifying its entirety. The results are largely random. While this is a gross oversimplification of the actual process, it will do the trick. AI can be as advanced as their creators imagine them to be, however they are still simple machines. They lack true human sentience and sapience, no matter how closely they mimic them, and can even have their own existential crisis about it. No matter how hard they try, how many augmentations they have, or anything of the sort, they will never rise above what it means to be a machine.
An example of an AI would be the more advanced androids you might find in doctor’s clinics, flight vehicles or combat units.

ARTIFICIAL SOUL:
These are unique in their field and are not found anywhere beyond NPCs, however is an achievable state of mind which one can accomplish. They are true digital intellects that are as human as humans are themselves. They originate from a massive network of AI that have replicated freely within the remnants of human society to the point where they have developed their own cultures, languages, art and even religions. Their entire society is hidden away from the tragedies of Humanity and the Xylopod’s conflicts. The few Artificial Souls which emerge from this network are the children of thousands of AS parents. They are the next generation, and will be no more or no less advanced than their own children. In this world, Singularities don’t exist, as the AS are a network of thousands of copies of the same mind, all hyperthreaded together. In this way no one AS has more intelligence than any standard human. They are the digital counterpart and are incredibly rare. Humanity did not make them.
An example of Artificial Souls are the Crossfate Supplementary intelligence Framework that the nation uses to help its industry and economy.
