LKB-106
-----------------------------
Type: Main battle tank
Weight: 53 tons
Information: A heavy-duty and tough-as-nails war machine, the Laserkanonbärare 106 (also known as the LKB-106) was the very first laser-firing tank to be mass-produced, earning it a reputation as one of the most feared and advanced tanks of the pre-war era. Produced for the Nordic Conferation in Landskrona, Sweden by Öguzhan Abp. Its massive main turret – made to accept high-output energy cells – is capable of piercing through thick layers of metal and straight through defensive fortifications, proving its use in the First Mutagen War in the defense of Sweden, as well as the battle lines along the Finnish border, and strategic positions along southern Europe during the early stages of the war. It also has two conventional turrets on its sides, as well as two heavy machine guns for backup.
Though heavily armed, the LKB-106 was often very expensive to manufacture and its main armament is less maneuverable than those of modern lighter tanks. Rather than becoming Sweden's primary battle tank, it was often used to lead other conventional tanks into battle as the core of formations. It is thanks to weapons like this that Sweden managed to last 47 years into the war; unmodified surviving versions most commonly come in winter camouflage, primarily from the Empire's western provinces of Norway and Iceland. There are a few which saw battle in Russia against the xylopods. On top of being expensive, the LKB-106 was limited to a mere 34 mph top speed, inferior compared to the German Kampfpanzer Jaguar .A4 which drove faster at speeds more than 2 times the top speed of the LKB.
