Trivolt Industries is a small corporation which specializes in creating civil weapons meant to be sold to law enforcement contractors, currently headquartered in Crossfate and selling their products to multiple businesses such as head corporation Gemini.
Created as a small company which produced electrical based weaponry as a form of civil defense, the company's main focus was to sell it's products into European nations such as England, Sweden, and other major countries who at the time were looking for a nonlethal tool to subdue armed or violent foes. At the time of the Mutagen War, the corporation would relocate into US California, before entering Crossfate.

History
Created in 2104 originally by the name of Volt-Tech Incorporated by entrepreneur Darius Faulkworth in Berlin, Germany. The company at the time had focused on manufacturing and distributing tasers and taser guns, marketed towards law enforcement and civilians as a way for defense. However tasers, were limited in that they had a very short range, as opposed to a firearm which was more lethal, and had far superior ranges. They started off with the VT-4, a handheld solar powered taser which was as small as an eraser however capable of putting a 150 pound man to the ground in seconds. It caught the market surprisingly well, especially towards the females, who especially liked the power it had, which provided approval protection during the night.
On August 23rd of 2132, after a long summer faced with a failure to market the VT-5A which was a taser glove, would bring the company to find other innovative ways to create a more user interested product. This led to the purchase of BLO's license of the BRO M1, a semi-automatic self reloading railgun, which would be turned into the VT-6X, a prototype semi automatic taser weapon, featuring the range of the BRO M1 with a electricity power similar to that of the VT-5, however would experience a decrease in power the longer the charge was allowed to fly through the air. Although the VT-6X was never released into public marketing, it paved the stepping stones for the upcoming VT-7 and VT-8, the first two semi-automatic stun guns which were capable of packing a electric punch while remaining non-lethal.
The VT-7 took the market by surprise, featuring a carbine length weapon and a fire capacity of around 30 stuns before requiring a recharge. It was used by the police forces in the US for a while, however were deemed inefficient when it came to dealing with hostile forces which in turn used lethal weapons. With the failure to market the VT-7 into the US, and any major European customer, Trivolt would begin to seek out new ways to sell their products, beginning with a mock up variant of a weapon featuring both non-lethal and lethal capabilities. In 2240, they'd purchase Gamo, which at the time was a small weapons manufacturing company specializing in laser pistols.
